Project: Suburban Site Reassessment
Location Context:
This project involves an existing single-storey dwelling located within a quiet residential suburb. The site is flat and surrounded by multiple neighbouring properties. While the current structure is primarily north-facing, the irregular geometry of the boundary lines and privacy limitations necessitate a thorough reevaluation of the design.
Design Approach:
The approach will be informed by the client’s specific requirements, alongside key environmental considerations such as sun orientation, prevailing winds, privacy, and access. The aim is to create a more functional and contextually responsive living environment.
Design Methodology:
To be developed in close consultation with the client, the design methodology will focus on enhancing spatial efficiency, improving privacy, and optimising environmental comfort, all while respecting the constraints of the existing structure and surrounding context.
